The Castle Park Reservation is a 1.1 acre conservation area that is named for the castle-like home owned by the Joyce family that once stood on the property. Castle Park was improved in 1996 by the Andover Trails Committee and area residents, and now offers visitors a quiet and shady place to enjoy the peaceful Shawsheen River. Castle Park is open to the general public and can be used for walking, fishing, and picnicking .
Public Access
The trail is accessible through easement on the hillside behind Marland Place, which links Castle Park to Stevens Street and to residences on Smithshire Estates and Cassimere Street.
Parking
Parking is available in the Atria Marland Place parking lot. Limited street parking is also available on Joyce Terrace.
