Jenna Blum is the New York Times and internationally bestselling author of Those Who Save Us, (2002) The Stormchasers, (2010) and The Lost Family (2018). She is one of Oprah's Top 30 Women Writers. Her first novel, Those Who Save Us, was a New York Times bestseller, the #1 bestselling novel in Holland in 2011, and the 2005 winner of the Ribalow Prize, awarded by Hadassah Magazine and adjudged by Elie Wiesel. Jenna is based in Boston, where she has taught at Grub Street Writers since 1997. She earned her M.A. in Creative Writing from Boston University, where she taught creative writing and journalism. From 1993-1997, Jenna interviewed Holocaust survivors for the Steven Spielberg Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation. She has written the screenplay for Those Who Save Us, currently under option, and is working on her fourth novel. Her books will be available, courtesy of the Andover Bookstore. On behalf of the Tang Institute and Head of School teams, you are invited to to join the next speaker in our Mindfulness Speaker Series, Matthew Hepburn. Matthew will give a talk on incorporating mindfulness into daily life on Friday, January 31st at 7:00 p.m. in Davis Hall, located on the Phillips Academy campus.
Matthew will also lead a daylong workshop on Saturday, February 1, beginning at 10:00 a.m. in Davis Hall.
